Our Retail Coir blocks are made from coco peat from Pelemix Sri Lanka. Coir is a fibrous by-product of coconut processing. The coir is sorted by particle size into pre-determined grades suitable for a variety of growing applications. The precise blends of coir components are then blended and compressed to one fifth of it's normal size, when dry. Simply adding water allows the coir to expand back to it's normal size.

Packages come with handles. Strong robust plastic and are easily stacked on retailers shelves or carried home by gardeners.
