NFT Lettuce/Herb Kitset

This kitset is an entry level kitset for growing Lettuce and Herbs. Plants can be grown from seedlings or purchased from a garden center and placed straight into the kit. Power is required close by to plug the pump into.

Depending on your area in NZ this can be grown outside all year round (Plants just grow slower over winter) or in a greenhouse, sunny deck or porch. We find the plants can take a good frost and just thaw out and keep growing!

Plants recommended include lettuces, watercress, basil, corriander, rocket, chives, water cress, parsley

Other plants like tomatoes, capicum, eggplants, Cauliflower, Broccoli, beans etc develop too big a root system and eventually block up the gullies - They also require a different strength of nutrient. See other kitsets below that are recommended for these

This kitset can hang on an exterior wall or inside a greenhouse. It can be made longer or shorter as required. It is recommended for Lettuces and Herbs as above. Also requires a powerpoint.

Hydroponic Coir Kitset

This coir Hydroponic kitset is suitable for growing crops like Tomatoes, Cucumbers, Chillies, Capsicum, Zucchini, Melons, Eggplants etc.

The kiset can be placed in a sheltered sunny position outside or in a greenhouse. It does require a power supply for the timer and pump.

• 4 x 1M long coir grow bags
